About LA-POSTPRESS

We operate in two ways.
On the one hand, we broker used machines from German print shops to customers worldwide.
On the other hand, we purchase machines, bring them into our warehouse, inspect them, and prepare them for resale.

Our focus is on postpress machines.
This includes booklet production systems, collating towers, three-knife trimmers, folding machines, and perfect binders.
We also offer additional equipment such as paper drills and similar machines.

Used machines are more cost-effective, faster available, and sustainable. We make sure that machines are not scrapped but continue to be used. Today, repair and reuse are more important than ever.

Machine condition & availability

Used machines are not new machines – and we are transparent about that.
We offer different condition levels. Machines can be sold at a lower price in their current condition or prepared and optimized on request.
Many international customers prefer a more cost-effective option and handle cleaning or adjustments themselves.

Yes. Every machine is inspected by us. It is important to note that machines are often published online before they arrive at our facility. Once they are in our warehouse, they are checked and evaluated.
With used machines, it can happen that accessories or smaller parts are missing. However, essential components are never missing. If something important is missing, we take care of sourcing it. This can be done through the manufacturer, for example Horizon, or from our own spare parts stock.
New machines are listed online immediately. Depending on the location, it may take some time until the machine arrives at our warehouse and is fully inspected.

Choosing & buying a machine

The machine has to fit your production – not the other way around. We advise based on your applications, formats, production volumes, and budget. Our technician supports this process with practical experience.
Yes – and we highly recommend it. A personal impression helps to make the right decision. Alternatively, we provide videos and detailed insights.
In the used machinery business, prepayment is standard. We support the entire process from machine selection to delivery in a transparent and reliable way.

Delivery, setup & after-sales support

Yes – and this is one of our strengths. We handle the entire process, including dismantling, packaging, container loading, and worldwide shipping. Whether to China, the USA, or within Europe, we have extensive experience in international logistics. We also operate our own truck and work with an experienced driver.
Yes, on request. Our technician can assist with installation. Alternatively, we provide videos that clearly explain the setup process. Many machines, especially from Horizon, are more intuitive to operate than expected
Yes. In addition to complete machines, we also offer selected spare parts, especially for Horizon systems. This includes, for example, new folding rollers and sensors for VAC towers. These components are often no longer available from the manufacturer, and we can frequently provide suitable solutions.
Yes. Our service does not end with delivery. We are only satisfied when our customers are satisfied, and we continue to support you with any questions or technical issues after the purchase.
